Why wait for Sunday to feel peace?
This morning, while I was out walking, a woman stopped me.
She looked at my shirt and asked,
“Isn’t it Wednesday? Your shirt says Sunday.”
She looked confused.
I smiled and said,
“I know. I wore it on purpose—because I wanted today to feel like Sunday.”
She didn’t get it. And that’s okay.
Here’s what I meant:
Sunday feels different.
I slow down. I breathe deeper. I feel more connected—to myself, to life, to something greater.
There’s less pressure. More presence.
That’s what I needed today.
So even though it’s Wednesday, I brought Sunday with me.
I chose how I wanted to feel.
I set the energy I wanted to carry.
We spend so much time rushing.
But sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is pause.
To care for our mind.
To listen to our heart.
To just be.
Not every day needs to be a hustle.
Slow down.
Tune in.
Carry the energy that feels right for you.
